Wrap-Up

Wrapping up; no its not the Christmas season yet, it is more about the final week of the semester. Tomorrow we will all have our last class, last tutorial, last consultation and last lecture of the term. And I'll be having a reflection portfolio presentation, getting a nervous breakdown here. Going haywire soon, must meditate and stay calm, and God please send your angels to watch over me. At the moment, I am feeling all wrapped up tight, suffocating... Give me some oxygen please.

Earlier I was helping a friend to draw up a storyboard for his' campaign on "Listerine- Breast Cancer Awareness". The idea behind introduced a new flavor for Listerine by using strawberry which the color redish pink will accommodate with the pink ribbon of the Breast Cancer Awareness. In my opinion, it is kind of an interesting approach for this, it is original and has a fresh twist in it, and I hope it will work out well for his' presentation. *wink*

Soar / Sore

Soar (v)

1. To rise, fly, or glide high and with little apparent effort.

2. To climb swiftly or powerfully.

3. To glide in an aircraft while maintaining altitude.

My spirit soared higher as the end of the semester is closing near, summer is drawing closer as I am typing away. My mood has been stirred, feeling less gloomier or miserable than before. One of the reason maybe the stress of my assignment, but that is part of the package when I had decided to quit my job to further my studies. And I am happy to say that I have manage to live through this thrilling semester. 2 more semesters to go, for a reminder to keep me optimistic about life and what is ahead.

Sore (adj)

1. Painful to the touch; tender.

2. Feeling physical pain; hurting

Lately I have been cooped up at home, trying hard to finish all the endless assignment; the result of it is rewarding, as I have learnt to deal and understand the different situation and culture studying in a foreign country.

I need to get some fresh air, to ease down the tension I am facing. Missing home, my pet dogs and all my friends. Went out for a short jog after all these months, didn't know I had missed out so much, nice weather, seeing bright blue skies, feeling the cool breeze brushing against me, it is simply a wonderful feeling. Came back with sored muscles all over my body. Telling myself, I need to exercise more to keep up, feeling old. Sored and ached. *ouch*

Rush

One word says it all 'Rush', as next week will be the final week of the semester. Due dates are getting closer and closer, sometimes you can even feel it breathing down your neck. All the final presentation will be next week. And I have to constantly remind myself to stay calm before I go berserk and screw up every single piece of assignments!

To look at the brighter side, after all these stresses, there will be 4 months of summer breaks of fun and sun! Glorious! Don't you agree? So it complements and rewards all the hard work we have been through in the end.

As I was working on one of my assignment earlier, I have to come up with a 'paint spread' that brings me walking down the memory lane. It was memorable and fun while it lasted. Now, comes back to reality. Moving on hastily... Go Go Go!
